Does BlackFort Wallet store my private keys on a server?
Absolutely not. Your private keys never leave your device. All cryptographic operations happen entirely within your browser's local environment. We have no servers that hold or process any wallet data.
Is BlackFort Wallet open source?
Yes. Our extension code is publicly auditable. Transparency is a core part of our commitment to security. We believe you should be able to verify exactly what the extension does.
Why does the extension redirect non-English users?
The full-featured Studio interface is currently available for en-US users. Global users are redirected to our information page while we expand language support for the complete feature set.
What data does the extension send over the network?
Only signed transaction data to blockchain RPC endpoints — and only when you explicitly initiate a transaction. No personal identifiers, no telemetry, no analytics. Zero background network activity.
How do I report a security vulnerability?
Please email security@blackfortwallet.com with a detailed description of the vulnerability. We practice responsible disclosure and will acknowledge your report within 48 hours. Please do not publicly disclose vulnerabilities before we have had a chance to address them.
